State Farm Stadium is excited to welcome you back to Arizona's world-class event destination. Since the onset of COVID-19, State Farm Stadium has partnered with public health experts to create a safe and welcoming environment for fans. New policies and procedures have been implemented to keep everyone safe – but we need your help to make it a success.

Please read the below guidelines so that you are best prepared for your next visit to State Farm Stadium.

Know Before You Go

Fans MUST NOT come to the stadium if they have COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms, or know they've been exposed to COVID-19.


Sanitization Measures

State Farm Stadium has implemented ASM Global's VenueShield program that incorporates industry best practices designed to provide the highest levels of cleanliness and safety. Enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the stadium including all public spaces and surfaces, will take place prior, during and after every event. Dedicated restroom attendants will assist with continual cleaning throughout the event.

Face Covering Policy

In accordance with local requirements, face coverings must be worn by everyone at all times while at State Farm Stadium. This policy applies to both the inside of the stadium and the outdoor spaces around the stadium perimeter as well. All staff, visitors, guests, ticketholders or any others in all areas of the stadium are require to wear face coverings except for when actively eating or drinking while in a designated seated area. 

  • The policy applies to all persons 2 years of age or older. 
  • For guests or ticket holders, removal of face coverings while actively eating or drinking is only permitted while in designated seating areas. To minimize the potential for close contacts between guests, the consumption of food or beverages on concourses or in other public spaces of the stadium is not permitted. 
  • Face coverings must be properly worn and must completely cover the nose and mouth.
  • In accordance with CDC guidelines, face shields are not an acceptable replacement for a face covering and may not be utilized in place of a face covering. 
  • In accordance with CDC guidelines, face coverings with exhalation valves or vents are not acceptable for use.

All face coverings must:

  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin.
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the sides of the face.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing of at least 6 feet will be enforced at all times.

Health Screening

For your safety, our employees will undergo temperature checks and health screening questions prior to entering the stadium.

Contactless Entry

Stadium entry will utilize every other door and physical distancing markers on the ground for line queuing. All tickets will be paperless to allow touchless scanning from mobile devices at entry points.

Capacity Reduction

Capacity reductions are in place to facilitate physical distancing. Congregating in groups or standing along railings is not permitted.

VenueShield Promise

VenueShield provides the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve State Farm Stadium’s clients, guests, staff, teams, talent and all other visitors. All policies will be aligned with and informed by public health authorities, medical and industry experts. ASM Global has proactively partnered with and will further consult with leading subject matter experts, health officials and industry leaders in the areas of industrial hygiene, sanitization and fulfillment to consult on all facets of the VenueShield program.

Parking passes will now be paperless to allow touchless scanning from mobile devices at entry points. Vehicles will be parked in every other space to provide physical distancing within parking lots.

Mobile Ticketing

Have your ticket loaded onto your mobile device before arriving to the stadium. Make sure your phone is fully charged.

Inside the Stadium

Contactless Restrooms

Motion sensored sinks, soap dispensers, and toilets have been installed in all restrooms for your safety and convenience. 

Hand Sanitizing Stations

Touchless hand sanitizer stations are available for all fans throughout the stadium. 


All food must be consumed in the seating area. Eating and drinking on the concourse is not allowed.

Purchase of concessions will be cashless experience; no cash will be accepted and reverse ATMs will be available. Physical distancing markers on the floor for line queuing along with safety barriers between cashiers and fans are in place. Maricopa County Environmental Services Department sanitization regulations are thoroughly carried out prior to and after each event. Condiment dispensers have been eliminated.

Cashless Payments

State Farm Stadium has transitioned to a cashless transaction stadium ensuring contactless options for food, beverage and merchandise purchases. 

Cash will no longer be accepted at the stadium and ATMs have been removed from the premises. State Farm Stadium offers cash to card ATMs to convert cash to a universally accepted debit card.

In addition to traditional scan and chip options, all fixed points of sale will offer tap payment options including Apple, Google and Samsung pay. 

Cardinals Team Shop

A limited number of fans will be allowed into the Team Shop to facilitate physical distancing. Fans must bag their own items and payment transactions will be cashless; no cash will be accepted.


Through public health organizations, such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), State Farm Stadium is staying informed of the latest updates and developments as they occur. As additional information and guidelines become available through the NFL, CDC, or national/local officials, State Farm Stadium will continue to comply and make updates.
